Advertising Activity in OOH, H1 2026.
In the first half of 2026, outdoor advertising remained a medium where visibility was shaped not only by international corporations but also by strong Ukrainian brands.
The ten most active advertisers accounted for 16% of all OOH activity. They included LUN, Vyna Svitu, Silpo, Club 4 Paws, Kontramarka, Kyivstar, lifecell, Karabas, Sport Life, and Work.ua.
This list demonstrates the broad role of outdoor advertising: it serves real estate, retail, telecommunications, job-search services, fitness, pet products, and entertainment events.
Retail generated 12% of advertising activity, while all other categories accounted for the remaining 88%. This distribution indicates relatively low category concentration and diverse demand for outdoor media.
For brands, OOH remains a way to maintain a presence in the physical urban environment, support awareness, and generate frequent contact with mobile audiences. However, with so many advertisers competing for attention, presence alone is no longer enough. Location, message simplicity, and the creative’s ability to attract attention within seconds and deliver sufficient frequency in relevant areas become decisive.
Is outdoor advertising still an accessible medium for different businesses, or can only large-scale campaigns achieve genuine visibility today?
