Advertising Activity on TV in the First Half of 2026.

The television advertising market in the first half of 2026 shows a high concentration of activity among leading advertisers and categories.

The ten most active advertisers accounted for 35% of all TV advertising activity. The list includes Farmak, Henkel, P&G, lifecell, Teva, Nestlé, Vodafone, Sanofi, L’Oréal, and Kyivstar.

This mix shows that television remains an important channel not only for consumer goods, but also for pharmaceutical, telecommunications, and cosmetics brands. Its key advantage is the ability to build broad reach quickly and maintain brand awareness in highly competitive categories.

Pharmaceutical advertising is particularly prominent, accounting for 30% of all television advertising activity. All other categories combined represent the remaining 70%.

This makes the pharmaceutical sector one of the main drivers of demand for television advertising inventory. At the same time, the strong presence of major brands intensifies competition for viewers’ attention and raises requirements for frequency, creative quality, and planning accuracy.

For smaller players, this means finding more precise time slots and more effective media combinations.

Do these figures demonstrate the enduring strength of television, or show that access to mass reach increasingly depends on the budgets of the largest advertisers?
