Ukrainian prime-time television demonstrates that viewers are equally interested in entertainment formats and serialised stories.

MasterChef 17 led the rankings in the second quarter of 2026, with an average rating of 2.58. Its result was noticeably ahead of the nearest competitors, confirming viewers’ sustained interest in large-scale entertainment shows.

It was followed by the TV series K.O.D. with a rating of 2.17 and The Substitute at 2.11. Dizel Show ranked fourth with 2.02, almost matching The Blind at 2.01.

The second half of the top ten consists mainly of TV series: The Investigator, Autopsy Will Reveal, Coffee with Cardamom: The Power of the Earth, Doctors, and Just Hope 2. Their ratings fall within a relatively narrow range of 1.62 to 1.76.

Ukrainian prime time therefore has no single formula for success. A major entertainment show can establish a clear lead, while regular series provide channels with consistent viewer contact.

For advertisers, this creates an opportunity to combine the broad reach of flagship projects with sustained visibility within serialised content. This combination enables brands to balance rapid reach with the gradual accumulation of effective contact frequency.
