Ways to Save Money.
Saving money increasingly starts not with a cheaper purchase, but with refusing to pay for something consumers can do themselves.
Seventy-eight percent are willing to forgo services they can handle independently, ahead of searching for special offers and discounts, practiced by 73%.
Another 63% choose value-size packaging, while 62% shop at second-hand stores. Resale, larger formats, and do-it-yourself solutions are losing their association with frugality and becoming part of rational consumption.
Yet saving has its limits. While 61% are prepared to buy without warranty coverage, only 49% would accept a lower-quality product. This signals brands: consumers want to pay less, but are not necessarily willing to receive less.
The winner is not the cheapest offer, but the one that explains its value convincingly. Businesses should demonstrate durability, practicality, lifetime savings, and the difference between price and value.
A promotion may attract attention, but a well-supported benefit prevents a brand from becoming just another price tag.
What are your customers willing to save on, and where do they draw the line?
